Delete your Vainu parent app account

Write to krisgarg.work@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Vainu account”, from the email address the school registered or saying the mobile number you sign in with. Include:

• Your name
• Your child’s school
• Your children’s names, so we remove the right links

We reply to confirm it is you, tell the school, and delete your account within 30 days. You are signed out on every phone and stop getting bus updates. You can also ask the school office to remove you as a guardian.

• Your sign-in: your mobile number or email address and your password
• Your sessions and this phone’s notification token
• Your list of updates and which ones you opened
• The notes you wrote on photo checks
• Your links to your children, so the app shows you nothing more about them

The bus records about your child (each boarding, arrival and drop-off, made by the conductor) belong to the school’s record of who looked after the child, and stay with the school for as long as its agreement with Vainu sets out. So does the fact that a guardian answered a photo check, without your note. The school may also keep your name in its list of guardians if it needs it to keep your child safe.
