Large buttons, plain words and today’s list already on the phone. The conductor confirms each child in a tap, with or without signal.
Every tap is saved on the phone and sent when the signal returns. Records not yet sent are always labelled, and nothing is lost or counted twice.
The face check suggests a name. The conductor looks and confirms, or picks the child from the list. Technology suggests and a person makes the call.
If a phone is lost or broken, the school revokes it from the dashboard and the conductor carries on with another phone the same day.
