A school bus safety system where people decide

Technology helps. People decide. Every rule in Vainu exists so that no child is stranded by a phone, a sensor or a missing signal.

Five rules that never bend

They hold on every trip, whatever the signal or the phone.

  • A person confirms every child
  • GPS tracks the bus, not the child
  • Parents hear only confirmed records
  • Unsynced records are always labelled
  • Technology never strands a child

Your data stays with your school

We collect only what a trip needs and show it only to the people who need it.

  • Face data: only on that trip’s phone, never shared or used for training
  • Bus location: only during a trip, seen by the school and that trip’s parents
  • Trip records: never deleted, corrections are added

Built for the mornings that go wrong

Missed pickups, wrong buses, silent phones and no signal are the normal cases, not the exceptions. Each one has an alert, a fallback and a person who is told.

Common questions

Is face recognition required?

No. The face check only suggests a name. The conductor can always pick the child from the list.

Who can see a child’s records?

The school and that child’s guardians.

What happens if the phone fails during a trip?

Records already taken are kept on the phone and synced later. The school can revoke the phone and the trip carries on with another.
